Elinus Cato

Elinus Cato painted from his surroundings: the Grenadian countryside, workers picking cocoa or nutmeg, fishermen pulling in their nets and various views of the Carenage. In 1985 he was commissioned by the Government of Grenada to paint ‘People at Work’ as a gift to Queen Elizabeth II.
