While the name might seem a little odd, the island itself is anything but! Located off the southwest coast, the trip to Hog Island is a bit of an adventure in and of itself. Private but uninhabited, there’s a small bar that opens on the weekends and its sheltered bay makes it a popular spot for yachts to anchor. The small beach is quite calm and lovely for a relaxing dip and the snorkeling will definitely make it worth your while.
Nature lovers will also enjoy its proximity to the Mt. Hartman Bird Sanctuary, which is home to the Grenada Dove and other endemic bird species. Whether you swim, snorkel or stroll, Hog Island will be sure to deliver the experience of a lifetime
